Indiana Historical Society Partners with Indiana Hospital Association to Welcome Award-Winning Journalist Bob Woodward
The Indiana Historical Society (IHS) is excited to partner with the Indiana Hospital Association on a special event welcoming Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Bob Woodward.
“Founders Day: An Evening with Bob Woodward” takes place Tuesday, November 1 from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, located at 450 W. Ohio St. in Indianapolis. This program will serve as a benefit for IHS’s statewide educational programs and services.
The evening is scheduled as follows:
- 5:30 p.m.: Reception in Kruse Family Stardust Terrace
- 6:00 p.m.: Dinner in Eli Lilly Hall
- 7:30 p.m.: Lecture in Frank and Katrina Basile Theater

As the award-winning investigative journalist and associate editor of The Washington Post, Woodward won the 1973 Pulitzer Prize for his work with Carl Bernstein on the Watergate scandal. In addition, Woodward was the main reporter for the Post’s articles on the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks that won the National Affairs Pulitzer Prize in 2002.
This event is co-hosted by Indiana Historical Society and Indiana Hospital Association.
